Admin overview
Admin is the control panel for a business workspace. Administrators manage users, email, domains, security, identity, devices, and workspace settings here. Regular members use their meil services without access to these pages.
Before you start
Sign in at admin.onmeil.eu and check the workspace in the top menu before making a change. Access to a page or action may depend on:
- whether you are the owner, an administrator, or a member
- whether a delegated role is enabled for the workspace
- which plan and services the workspace has
- whether the identity or security engine has finished setting up
Admin always displays status from the service. A button or link is therefore not a guarantee that an external provider, DNS change, or background job has finished.

Safe operating order
- Verify the workspace and administrator role.
- Verify the domain before creating mailboxes, lists, or invitations on it.
- Create users with the member role first. Grant an administrator or delegated role only when the task requires it.
- Configure security and identity step by step. Test with one user or group before a broad change.
- Check the result in Overview and the Audit log.
What these areas do not mean
- Audit log records administration events. It does not remotely control computers.
- Mail search shows mail-flow and delivery events. It is not a full-text search across employees’ mailboxes.
- Email security follows domain configuration and reports. It does not change DNS automatically.
- DNS / Web protection protects registered network points when clients use the resolvers shown in Admin. It is part of meil Business for organizations, not a private feature.
- Device management is a read-oriented overview. Remote wipe, remote updating, and general remote control are not included in this version.
Privacy and access
Admin can display personal data, IP addresses, software, security signals, email metadata, and identity data. Grant access based on work need, use the Audit log during investigations, and follow the organization’s procedures. Read the WAYSCloud privacy notice.
